Ajay Attawala
Director of Federal Contracting

Mr. Attawala has over 30 years of experience in construction of various structures and utilities. Mr. Attawala has held responsibility for project management and execution including estimation, budgeting, proposal negotiations, procurement, site supervision, subcontractor management, site safety, quality control, risk management, compliance, client communications, and project closeout.  He has in-depth knowledge of cost accounting and schedule development and controls helping to achieve project objectives.  Mr. Attawala is a collaborative team leader with a proven record of establishing partnering relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and government officials.  Mr. Attawala has managed multiple task orders totaling to $88M worth of new construction and renovation work in his time with the firm.

 

Elizabeth Scalzo
Bids & Proposals Manager

Elizabeth Scalzo possesses more than 18 years’ experience in various aspects of residential and commercial construction including due diligence documentation, pre-construction submittals, construction permitting, site utilities, subcontractor documentation, regulatory compliance, statistical reporting, and procedural development.  Her government contracting experience includes 8 years in proposal management and contract administration roles with firms representing numerous socio-economic categories including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone Small Business, 8(a), Woman-Owned Small Business, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).  She is familiar with joint ventures, teaming agreements, mentor-protégé arrangements, and competitive set-asides under various government agencies and programs. Ms. Scalzo specializes in opportunity assessment, analysis of proposal requirements, and development of proposal capture strategy. She is also responsible for ensuring compliance with client bid and proposal requirements unique to each solicitation.
