Larry Redfearn
Engineering Manager

Mr. Redfearn has gained extensive experience performing and managing facilities work for educational institutions over the course of his 39 year career.  Upon completing his apprenticeship, Mr. Redfearn became a journeyman plumber licensed by the state of Michigan.  After working a few years in the construction industry, he was hired by Detroit Public Schools.  At DPS, Mr. Redfearn utilized his plumbing knowledge throughout various schools in the District while attending classes in pursuit of becoming a Master Plumber.  Shortly after obtaining his Master Plumber license Larry became a licensed Mechanical Contractor and was promoted to First Line Supervisor at DPS.  Larry proceeded to climb the DPS ranks to General Foreman, Mechanical Coordinator, Superintendent of all skilled trades, and finally Executive Director of Physical Plant Operations. Mr. Redfearn is an exceptional problem-solver and decision maker with diverse technical knowledge of construction trades, maintenance and operations.  He was appointed as Commissioner of the Construction Safety Standards Commission (MIOSHA) for three terms by Governor Jennifer Granholm of the State of Michigan and served one term as Vice-Chair of the MIOSHA Commission.


Jinansh Shah
Operations Manager

Jinansh Shah’s 20 years in maintenance, environmental, and project management experience is specialized in facilities management and construction management. Mr. Shah has worked on dozens of federal contracts with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Air Force serving military bases and other government properties as well as projects at the local municipality level including the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department and school districts in SE Michigan. Mr. Shah has hands-on knowledge of field investigation, safety, chemicals, restoration, remediation, construction methods, supervision, scheduling, material procurement, and budgeting. Previous experiences cover all aspects of the operations and maintenance scopes that are inherent with capital improvement projects of all kinds. Mr. Shah is currently responsible for onsite safety, recommendations, change conditions, making sure the work is performed in strict compliance, and handling of any claim related to field work and resources management at the field level.
